Je suis en France!

Bonjour!

I have now been living in France for three days. Time here has been awesome and I love my life here!

My first flight left from Finland last Tuesday at 12.15 pm. I stopped at Paris and continued to Bordeaux from there! On the plane I spoke French to two people, which made me extremely happy!

Part of my family was waiting me at the airport and meeting them went super well! We drove from Bordeaux to Angoulême, and at home I met my mama and some other relatives. We ate some pasta and talked for a long time (or I was mainly listening). But I also spoke already some French, and I can understand way more than I can talk!

On wednesday we had a lazy morning, so we just watched tv (Grey's Anatomy with French subtitles was good training!) and lay besides the pool. In the afternoon we went to see the downtown of Angoulême and met some of my hostsister's friends!

Yesterday we were in a pool party and I met the two other exchange students, Hannah and Melanie, who are with me here! We had lots of fun, and hopefully we will meet soon again!

Today we went to the Festival Film Francophone d'Angoulême, which is a film festival for French films. I saw two films (I understood the stories but didn't understand the speaking almost at all) and saw couple of very famous French actresses. When we walked home, I took couple of pictures when it was already getting dark.

So everything is good here! I'll be back in some days!

Last Night Feelings

Bonjour!

Kello on varttia yli yksitoista illalla, ja mun lennon lähtöön on tasan 13 tuntia aikaa. Halusin tulla vähän kertomaan tänhetkisistä fiiliksistä, niin on sitten jälkeenpäinkin kiva lukea, mitä on viimeisenä iltana ajatellut.

Viikonloppuna pidin lauantaina kavereille ja sunnuntaina sukulaisille läksiäiset, joista kerron jossain vaiheessa. Kuviakin lisäilen varmaan enemmän myöhemmin. Molemmat menivät tosi hyvin, ja oli kiva viettää aikaa kaikkien kanssa ennen lähtöä!

Tänään olikin sitten (ainakin tähän mennessä) vaikein päivä. Aamupäivällä sanoin heipat mun isoisoäidille ja papalle. Koulun jälkeen mun lähimmät ystävät tuli meille, ja illalla oli heippojen aika. Ystävien näkeminen viimeistä kertaa oli aivan hirvittävän vaikeaa, eikä siitä kyllä kuivin silmin selvinnyt kukaan. 

Selvittiin kuin selvittiinkin, ja tällä hetkellä fiilis on odottavan innostunut. En vieläkään oikein tajua, miten pitkästä ajasta on kyse. Eiköhän se tästä ala pikkuhiljaa valjeta, koska vuorokauden kuluttua asun jo mun uudessa kotikaupungissa!

Tämä onkin mun viimeinen kirjoitus Suomen puolelta. Yritän tulla ensimmäisinä päivinä ainakin vähän kertomaan, miten sujuu!
